It is stamped on verso with the initials SD, an indication of a date later than the 1920s Deco period. Although most likely made in the 1950s or a little later, this pin evokes the era of Art Deco in its shape and design.  It is stamped on verso with the initials SD, an indication of a date later than the 1920s Deco period.

The four turquoise stones are a beautiful dark green color with a nice display of copper matrix.  The three strips of silver radiating from the small round turquoise cab are raised above the level of the silver sheet backing, as are the domed silver pieces on the bottom edge.  Silver drops separate each of the silver strips at the edge of the pin.

Condition:  very good condition.  One small nick in the right turquoise cab but it has been stabilized.

Provenance: from the personal collection of a gentleman from Georgia.
