Buffy Cordero Suina (1969- ) was a granddaughter of Fred and Helen Cordero.  Her mom and dad were George and Kathy Cordero.  She credits her interest in pottery to her dad and her grandmother.  It is most likely that Helen had more influence on Buffy as it appears that she quit potting following the death of Helen.  Buffy started making storyteller figurines around 1985 while still a teenager.

Buffy Cordero Suina (1969 -) signatureThis male storyteller is of the style of those made by Helen.  I believe it is accurate to say that Buffy only made male storyteller figurines as did her grandmother.  This one is painted in the style of those of Helen with the children wearing striped and checkered shirts and trousers.  The adult male has a decorated color and sleeves of his shirt.  There is one child clinging to the back of the adult and five more visible from the front.  It is signed Buffy Cordero-Suina Cochiti.

Condition: very good condition.
