Mildred Albert, Hopi Third Mesa Basket Maker

Mildred Albert is a Hopi Pueblo basket weaver.  She has been making wicker baskets and plaited sifters since the 1960s and her preferred designs are Katsina – Kachina. 

She is a Sun Clan member and resident of Hotevilla, Hopi Third Mesa, in Arizona.
