There is a stamped hallmark on the underside of the jar that appears to be a flying bird but so far I have not been able to identify the maker to whom that hallmark belongs.
This miniature Sterling Silver and Turquoise jar is exquisitely made. It has three turtles on the shoulder, each with a small turquoise cab on its back. There is no other decoration.
Provenance: Estate of Evelyn and Herbert Weinstein, Santa Fe.
