This is a very unusual one in that she is sitting on a stool rather than on the ground. She is holding a sleeping child. Her hair is delineated and slipped in micaceous clay. Her feet are painted as if she is wearing moccasins. Circa 1900. Her right foot is chipped; otherwise she is in excellent condition.
