A skilled Navajo artist used a myriad of delicate elements to create this remarkable bracelet. A deep blue cabochon of turquoise is surrounded by twisted wire, silver drops, single wire loops and stamped bands creating a lace-like frame. The artist began by framing a trapezoid shaped piece of turquoise with small silver drops. On either side of the star-shaped drops is a curved spiral of twisted wire. Another piece of twisted wire surrounds the central elements. Delicately placed single wire loops grace the outer edge of the bracelet. This is placed on a elaborately stamped three-band shank. The lovely bracelet is unsigned and dates from the mid to late 20th Century.
Condition: The Bracelet with Single Trapezoid Turquoise is in excellent condition.
