This band was formed from a strip of silver that was rounded and soldered to shape.  Turquoise was cut into small triangles which were each then set into the band between silver channels. Each turquoise stone varies in color and matrix resulting in a beautiful varying palette of color, much more interesting than if all the turquoise had been consistently the same in coloration.

Turquoise has been valued by the people worldwide for centuries. The stone has been a symbol of protection, prosperity, good health and power, as well as a reflection of the beauty of the sky.
