This Navajo-made sterling silver bracelet started with a strip of silver that was shaved from a maximum width of 7/8" (in the middle) to a minimum width of 7/16" (at the tips).  The silver shank was then split into three strips at its top.  The ends of the shank were stamped with a Sun Face, a Thunderbird, and several triangular and linear stamped designs.  Arrowheads were added to the center strip and each arrowhead was adorned with a silver button.  The main design is a beautifully sculpted eagle at the apex of the bracelet with a beautiful green turquoise cab on its body.

The bracelet is one of the finest of what have become known as Fred Harvey style bracelets because this is the style bracelet sold at Fred Harvey establishments in the late 1800s and early 1900s.  The wear pattern on this bracelet would lean one to date it circa 1920s.

Condition:  The Diné - Navajo Sterling Silver and Turquoise Bracelet exhibits beautiful patina and excellent wear pattern.  The condition is excellent for a bracelet of this vintage.
