This is a rare and remarkable early Zuni cluster bracelet. Perfect, round, tiny cabochons surround a large oval turquoise cabochon that measures 1” by ½”. In most early Zuni cluster bracelets, there is not a large center piece of turquoise. Carefully crafted twisted wire and silver dots separate two surrounding rows of elegantly carved teardrop cabs. Each side shank features a triangle of precisely shaped tear-drop turquoise.

The Southwest Indian Jewelry bracelet contains a myriad of shades of blue and green ranging in color from light robin’s egg blue to a deep green. Each section is firmly soldered to three solid sterling silver wire supports. It is delicate and sturdy at the same time.  Everything about this bracelet reflects skillful and patient craftsmanship. It is one of the loveliest cluster bracelets we have had the opportunity to offer.

Condition: The Large Silver and Turquoise Zuni Pueblo Cluster Bracelet is in very good condition for its age. All of the turquoise cabs are intact and snugly placed in their bezels.

Provenance: From the collection of a Colorado gentleman
