The artist who fashioned this early ring employed a creative twist on what was generally being made during the 1930s. Two small triangular-shaped stones and two rectangular ones are snugly set in handmade bezels and then placed on a finely stamped silver base. The base has a starburst shape and at the end of each point of the star rests a small silver drop. The artist carefully stamped the area between the four stones with a zig-zag design. The four-pronged shank has been chiseled with a series of small lines. The design on the band of the ring has been worn to a point that it cannot be identified as to what it was. The craftsmanship on this bracelet is innovative and precise.
Condition: The ring is in very good condition with significant wear evident on the band. The darker green turquoise has a fracture but is firmly set in the bezel.
Provenance: The Older Ring with Four Geometric Shaped Stones is out of a large Colorado Southwest Indian Jewelry collection.
