This truly miniature seed pot was beautifully designed with eagle feathers and geometric elements very slightly carved into the clay body in sgraffito fashion. The jar is signed Geri Naranjo Santa Clara and it was made in 1982.
Geri Naranjo is an extraordinary potter and works exclusively in miniature scale. She, along with her daughter Monica and her son Kevin are the primary makers of miniature pottery at Santa Clara Pueblo.
