Special Exhibit: Noteworthy Works by Seven Pueblo Painters

Adobe Gallery's “Noteworthy Works by Seven Pueblo Painters” to open August 6, 2018 

“Noteworthy Works by Seven Pueblo Painters” will feature exemplary early Native American paintings, most of which come from one private collection.

“Noteworthy Works...” will include classic, traditional images alongside interesting anomalies, providing the viewer with an intriguing look at the variety of styles created by pioneering pueblo artists. The exhibit will also include pieces by second generation traditionalists whose works bear the influence of the early painters.

“Noteworthy Works by Seven Pueblo Painters” will open on Monday, August 6 with a reception from 4-7 PM, and will continue through Saturday, September 29.  The exhibit will run concurrently alongside Adobe Gallery’s historic pottery exhibit “Enormous Forms.”
