Multiple elements executed with care and combined in a whimsical manner make up these amazing earrings. The eye is first drawn to the center stone, a stunning, blue oval cabochon of high-grade turquoise. The turquoise is framed by twisted wire spirals and a sterling silver drop.

Hanging from the center, on either side, are two lightning bolts, which have been hand cut and stamped. Lightning bolts are an important motif in Southwestern art because they represent prayers for rain. All of these pieces are connected by two handmade links to a starburst bead at the top which is backed by a post. The earrings were made during the 1930s or 1940s and have recently been converted from screw back to pierced posts.

Condition: the Sterling Silver and Turquoise Dangle Earrings with Arrows are in excellent condition, all of the handmade links are intact and the stones are in pristine shape.

Provenance: From a large jewelry condition in Colorado
