This necklace is comprised of three strands of highly polished tube-shaped coral beads and small round turquoise discs that are interspersed between. Artists from Kewa (Santo Domingo) Pueblo have been cutting and shaping stones for millenia. Passed down through family members, the process requires patience and precision.

These coral beads were individually shaped to form rounded oval tubes. The beads range in color from a deep blood red to a lighter bright orange. They have been polished to a high sheen and strung on cotton thread with interspersed turquoise discs. The perfectly shaped little discs are round and flat and make a lovely contrast to the red coral.

Condition: The Three Strand Coral Necklace with Turquoise Discs is in excellent shape. The beads are all intact and the string is tight.
