It is sometimes difficult to determine if an item of Southwest Indian jewelry was made by a Diné of the Navajo Nation or a Zuni Pueblo artisan. We have chosen to say that this ring was made by a Zuni artisan based on the fine lapidary workmanship as this is a specialty of Zuni artisans.

The face of the silver and turquoise ring is in the shape of a sunflower. The circle of turquoise stones around the outer rim are teardrop in shape, and the center stone is oval. There is a complimentary mixture of green and blue turquoise.
