Although this is a late twentieth century stick pin, it harks back to the days when gentlemen would stick such a pin in their neckties.  That does not seem to be in fashion today but such a pin could be used on a jacket or even a hat. When stick pins in neckties becomes fashionable again, the owner would be ahead of others and could strutt this pin.

The sun face is comprised of turquoise, coral, jet, and mother of pearl set in stone-to-stone fashion and then mounted on a silver backing and enhanced with four semicircle silver attachments.

Condition: this Zuni Pueblo Sun Face Stick Pin is in very good condition

Provenance: from the estate of Frances Balcomb passed through to a daughter from whom we acquired it.
