Stella Huma, Hopi-Tewa Potter
+ Add Artist to My Preferences

Hopi-Tewa artist Stella Huma was an exceptional potter in forming the vessel shape when making her pottery. She also was extremely adept at forming thin-walled vessels, much as the Acoma Pueblo potters. Not many Hopi-Tewa potters were able to achieve thin-walled vessels during her time.
Stella Huma (1929-1995) was mother to artist Lydia Huma Mahle.
