INTRODUCTION TO SOUTHWEST PUEBLO POTTERY and NAVAJO RUGS

By Margaret Moses Branch

Moses Branch LTD

Softcover, first edition, 1984, 36 pages, fully illustrated in color of pottery by 55 pueblo potters from major New Mexico Pueblos and Hopi Pueblo in Arizona.

Margaret Moses Branch opened and operated a gallery in Old Town Albuquerque in the 1980s and continued its operation for a decade or so, then she opened a small gallery in Santa Fe, but closed it within a year or so.

This booklet was produced while her Albuquerque gallery was in operation and features the work of potters she featured at the gallery.  Most of the well-known potters of that period are represented in the booklet.  Also in this booklet is an introduction to Navajo Rugs with illustrations.
