Venora Silas, Hopi-Tewa Potter

Venona Silas is of Hopi-Tewa and Laguna Pueblo heritage.  Her collectible pottery is in the Hopi style often using designs inspired by prehistoric Sikyatki pottery. She has been an active potter since 1990.

We have not yet determined a birth date but suspect she was born in the 1970s and is still an active potter.  Venora Silas is a daughter of Roberta Silas.
