At the beginning of the 20th century, an unknown Zuni Pueblo silversmith painstakingly cut nine small diamond sections of turquoise, placed them into narrow channels of silver which formed a diamond shaped frame and then embellished the sides of the ring by filing. The crown sits on a sturdy three-prong shank.

Close to one hundred years of time and wear have almost completely smoothed over the file marks and the turquoise stones seem to have settled into the silver channels, giving this ring a one-of-a-kind appearance. It is a ring that has only become more charming with age.

Condition: this Early Zuni Pueblo Silver Ring with Diamond Shaped Channel Turquoise Inlay is in very good condition. There is a smoothness to the silver that can only be achieved by years of wear.
