An amazingly talented Diné artisan fabricated these unique and unusual sterling silver earrings. Every element of fine craftsmanship is apparent in these earrings. From a repoussé post dangle three handmade hoops that swing through a small section of silver. A single, stamped, handmade Navajo pearl was placed on the largest hoop. A tiny squash blossom hangs in the center of the three hoops. All the pieces sway with graceful elegance. They are a one of a kind pair, crafted with creativity and tradition. They date from the mid-20th Century.

Condition: The Earrings with Three Hoops, Single Bead and Small Squash Blossom are in excellent condition.

Provenance: From a gentleman Southwest Indian Jewelry collector in Colorado

Note: when we say Diné, as opposed to Navaho or Navajo, we are referring to the people and not the government.  Since 1969, their government refers to itself as the Navajo Nation.
