We are unable to identify the artist who created this striking abstract figure necklace, but it is clear that it was one with both a strong vision and set of skills.  Almost Aboriginal in form, or similar to that of pictographs, the hanging pendant resembles an abstract figure.

A silver chain was handcrafted by an artist with talent. Thin but sturdy chains are linked and quite uniform throughout the length of the chain.  Each piece has been seamlessly soldered.

The pendant is what stands out the most.  A central cross of silver resembling arms outstretched is pierced on either side to attach it to the chain links.  This horizontal piece is ridged and further outstanding than the vertical one, which is thicker but lies flat.  Two enormous pieces of Cerrillos turquoise have bezels crafted to their dimensions and extend outward from each side of the central silver piece, reminiscent of a head and body.

The necklace is stamped with the identity of an artist, but we have been unable to determine the owner of the mark.

Regardless of what this abstract piece of jewelry does represent, all these elements combine to create something eye-catching and incredibly unique.  Chunky but refined, sturdy and stunning, this necklace is uncommon and endlessly appealing.

The necklace is stamped with the identity of an artist, but we have been unable to determine the owner of the mark.

Condition: this silver and turquoise necklace is in very good condition.

Provenance: this Handmade Silver Chain Necklace with Cerrillos Turquoise Abstract Figure is from an estate in eastern Washington.
