Square, or rectangular-cut turquoise, has an appeal that overshadows round gemstones. It is perhaps the massive appeal the turquoise has when cut and placed together in a checkerboard style that draws attention. This ring has nine beautiful symmetrical turquoise gemstones placed on top of the ring. Minimum silver is visible surrounding the turquoise settings.

The band is solid silver at the base and splits to four tines that connect to the top of the ring. A silver arch composed of four connected round wheels overlays the four tines on each side of the ring. This exquisite ring was not signed with the name of the maker. The jewelry ring has a substantial feel because of the large top and the wide band.

The silver and Sleeping Beauty turquoise ring appears to date to the mid-twentieth century. Adobe Gallery estimates its age to be circa 1950s.
