The robin egg blue long oval turquoise cab is beautifully domed and encased in a sawtooth bezel that is attached to a flat silver base surrounded by twisted silver rope.  The shank was made from three silver wires attached at the base and spread out at the foundation.

The turquoise gemstone is highlighted by the sawtooth bezel's edging that anchors it to the platform. Twisted wire surrounding the bezel and the small silver drops on each side are just the right amount of silver to add to the elegance of the ring without distracting from the beauty of the magnificent turquoise cabochon.

Note: Any shiny flecks seen in the images of this ring is a small amount of silver that was poured into a depression in the turquoise. This is a normal process used by jewelers to smooth the finished cab. It is much more evident in the photograph than when viewing the ring in person. The black in the turquoise is a natural matrix.
