Artist Signature Hallmark of Lowell Draper, Diné of the Navajo NationThis bracelet was formed by Diné silversmith Lowell Draper out of sterling silver and is dated to the year 1996.  A central band of textured silver is incised and framed on both sides with polished smooth sections.  The textured portion is very organic, and examined closely, reminds one of the veins of leaves.  With a wide but thin body, this bracelet is classic in a way that could be donned and enjoyed in any event, without exception.

Very creative and innovative in a way like none other, Lowell Draper is one of the many gifted Diné of the Navajo Nation artists who worked at the White Hogan in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was born circa 1955 and began making jewelry in 1973.

Condition: This sterling silver bracelet has some wonderful patina and is in excellent condition.

Provenance: this Diné Silversmith Lowell Draper Navajo Sterling Silver Bracelet is from a private collection
