An unusual rectangular shape was selected for this ring by an unidentified Diné of the Navajo Nation silversmith. The silver sheet platform was blackened to better highlight the three rectangular polished coral beads. Silver strips on the edges provide a frame for the mounting. Along with the coral are four small silver dots.

The rectangular shape of this ring sets it apart from many other rings by Diné silversmiths. It sets a presence of its own.
