This is a small Navajo sterling silver ashtray with precise stamped designs.  The four-part design in the bowl is comprised of semicircles and triangles, each surrounded by very fine parallel lines.  Around the rim of the bowl is a series of connected circles, each arched by a rainbow of rectangular bars. The two cigarette holders were elaborately stamped with small silver dots and parallel lines.  The bowl is supported on three half silver balls.
