This Navajo sterling silver ashtray is more elaborate in design than others of this size. The scallop edges are outlined with falling rain, the bowl is profusely stamped with small and close parallel lines and two flowers. Additionally, the cigarette holders are cut-out Thunderbirds, an indication that this one might have been made for The Fred Harvey Company, owners of the Thunderbird patent.
Condition: this Diné Sterling Silver Ashtray with Thunderbird Appliqué is in very good condition
