High-grade gemstone turquoise and fine craftsmanship combine to create a whimsical set of owl Navajo earrings and ring. The owls in this set were expertly handcrafted. To fashion the little birds an unknown silversmith first formed the outline of an owl using sections of twisted wire to make the ears and tail feathers. Then the artist set two high grade gemstones in straight edged bezels to form the eyes; a larger oval was used for the mouth. A small area between the ears has been stamped with a starburst motif.

The 1940s screw back earrings and accompanying ring were made by a very skilled artist. In both the earrings and the ring, each stone was set precisely and securely. Although it is apparent the figures are owls, the small turquoise gemstones are the focal point, shining brightly. These earrings would be a perfect gift for anyone who loves Harry Potter. The charismatic figures are an iconic reminder of JK Rowling's novels.  As was common for the time period, the pieces are unsigned.

Condition: The Navajo Owl Themed Turquoise Ring and Earrings Set are in very good condition. The gemstones are in perfect condition.
