This Kewa Pueblo Sterling Silver Band with Coral Mounting by Mitchell Calabaza is strikingly modern.  The silver bracelet consists of a sterling silver one-quarter-inch wide band slightly rounded over the top side.  There is no stamping or design on the silver.  It serves as a foundation for the scored and fluted silver bezel that displays a beautiful rectangular natural red coral setting.  The mounting rests on a short pedestal that allows the setting to float above the silver band.

The band is stamped CLBZ under a large wide M, a hallmark first used in 1977 by Mitchell Calabaza of Kewa Pueblo.
