Close up view of the coral.

The beautiful branch coral in this necklace has been cut and shaped to taper from ⅜” width at the center to ⅛” at the ends where the coral is connected to five handmade sterling silver beads and a single silver cone. The elegant symmetry of the necklace was achieved by the artist gradually narrowing each individual piece of coral. The necklace has a rich orange-red hue.  The Navajo handmade silver beads would help establish a date of the 1940s or 50s. The elegant manner in which this necklace drapes when worn is evidence of its high quality construction.

Condition: The RARE Single Strand Branch Coral Necklace is in good condition, the coral and the silver beads are in great shape. It does not appear to have ever been re-strung.
