An early twentieth century Diné artisan mounted three gem-grade turquoise cabochons on this elegant lady’s silver ring. The turquoise gemstones are a robin’s egg blue with little matrix and were placed in handmade bezels in a vertical setting. Interspersed between the turquoise cabs are four stamped silver balls. The three gemstones rest on a slightly scalloped platform that is connected to a three-prong shank.  As was the custom in the early twentieth century, the ring is unsigned.

Condition: this Vintage Diné Lady's Ring with Three Robin's Egg Blue Turquoise Gemstones is in excellent condition. It shows extensive wear that has given the piece a wonderful patina. The turquoise cabs are intact, but wear has also given them a smooth finish.

Provenance: From an extensive jewelry collection in Colorado
