Zuni Four Stone Dangle Earrings [SOLD]

Zuni Pueblo is located in west-central New Mexico about 30 miles south of Gallup. It is one of the largest Pueblos. Jewelry making is one of the major industries in the Pueblo. Skillfully-made turquoise petit-point and needlepoint jewelry is in demand world-wide and many families engage in making and marketing jewelry.

These delicate earrings feature an oval piece of turquoise to which three additional stones dangle. Each sky-blue stone is set in a silver frame. There are delicate drops of silver along each side in between the pieces of turquoise. The earrings are post, made for pierced ears. They are unsigned and come from the last quarter of the 20th Century.
