The featured item of this bolo is a magnificent eagle composed of multiple gemstones, including mother of pearl, coral, turquoise, jet, some of which are set within silver frames and other arranged stone-to-stone. Suspended from the two silver tips are small eagles. Just above the silver tips is a silver clasp with a turquoise gemstone, the purpose of which is to prevent the eagle pendants from swinging.  The bolo attachments are on a woven black strap with a flat black strap that rides on the neck.


Condition: good condition with evidence of wear.

Provenance: this Zuni Pueblo Mosaic Inlay Bolo Tie with Eagles is from the collection of Bob & Louise Sluder, Dealers/Collectors active from 1955 to 1990
