This pair of Zuni Pueblo turquoise earrings features the fine lapidary work of an unknown mid-century artist. The earrings consist of three bands, each containing hand cut pieces of turquoise that have been set in sawtooth bezels. The bands hang by circular links from a single stone post, with each of the bars consisting of one more tear-drop turquoise in an ascending order to the bottom row, which contains five stones. From the last bar dangle three sterling silver wires with silver drops on the bottom of each wire. These classic Zuni petit point earrings were made for pierced ears and are light and easy to wear.
