Artist signature of Phyllis Susan Coonsis, Zuni Pueblo ArtistThis pair of earrings, arranged in cluster style, was made by Phyllis Susan Coonsis of Zuni Pueblo. The turquoise outer rim consists of petit point style turquoise, surrounding a single round turquoise gemstone. The earrings are for pierced ears. Each earring is stamped with the name Phyllis.

Phyllis Susan Coonsis is a member of the Sun-Grain Clan at Zuni Pueblo. She was born in 1960, and began making jewelry at the young age of 17. She is the granddaughter of Myra Qualo; and the daughter of Juan Coonsis & Lorraine Nastacio. She has exhibited at Santa Fe Indian Market and other venues, and is represented in many personal collections.
