Zuni Pueblo is renowned for its lapidary arts. This incredible squash blossom necklace is a perfect example of the beautiful, high quality work for which Zuni Pueblo has become known.

Zuni channel work consists of a mosaic technique of placing stones within a framework of silver. Each stone is cut to precisely fit the area. The preciseness of cutting the stones and setting them in silver takes years of practice.

The necklace probably dates to the 1970s. It is in original excellent condition. It is not signed by an artist.
