Female storyteller figurine made by Lupe Loretto Lucero, originally from Jemez Pueblo. 6 children are attached. The adult is dressed in traditional pueblo dress and wears her hair tied up in a chonga. One child is holding an owl, one a seed jar, two holding baskets, and two just relaxing on her lap. Excellent condition.
Item Provenance: Purchased at the Amerind Museum Store, Dragoon, Arizona in 1991.
