Original Hopi Pueblo Painting of a Pair of Eagle Dancers by Homer Grover [SOLD]

This is an extraordinary painting of a pair of Pueblo Eagle Dancers. The artist is not published in any of my reference books so I have been unable to determine his age or if he is still an active artist or not. The only reference I have been able to find is that the Fred Jones Jr Museum of Art at The University of Oklahoma has one painting by him in the Oscar B. Jacobson Collection of American Indian Art. It too is of Hopi Katsinas and is dated 1936. If the artist was painting in 1936, it is quite likely that he is no longer active or perhaps no longer living.
