This jar dates to circa 1970s, which was near the end of the time that Fannie made vessels as large as this. It is decorated with the traditional Sikyatki migration pattern, the parallel lines of which supposedly represent the migration of the Hopi people. It is signed Fannie Nampeyo and with her ear of corn hallmark. It is a very impressive piece and is in excellent condition.
Provenance: From a private collection in Munich Germany.
