The lid on this silver box was designed as a concha from a concha belt. The stamping and repoussé work are identical to many Navajo concha belts. The lid has a silver strip on its underside that fits snugly into the box and keeps the lid secure. The oval silver box is decorated with a chain like stamped design around its circumference.
