Much of Ha So De’s work does not resemble the usual Navajo style, even though the subject matter may be of an Indian theme. In particular, his colors are more apt to be on the stronger side. Another trait that characterizes his work is high stylization of animal and human figures and natural plant growth. Here the deer have excessively long legs. Many of his works have dynamic rhythm, with a beautiful flow of line and color. He had a tendency to outline his figures in a color other than that of the main figures colors.
This is a signed and number silkscreen print. It is signed Ha-So-De in lower right and numbered 197/225 in lower left. It is matted and framed using acid free materials and a wood frame.
Condition: It is in original excellent condition.
Provenance: ex. coll. Taos Pueblo resident.
