Small bowls such as this one were often early products of younger potters in the process of learning from an experienced potter. Evon Trujillo is a granddaughter of Helen Cordero, and the daughter of Helen's adopted son, Gabe Trujillo and his wife, Kathy. Who better to learn than from the famous storyteller-potter Helen Cordero?
The bowl is signed E. Trujillo, Cochiti. It was fired in the traditional outdoor firing and has a fire cloud on one side.
Condition: the bowl is in original condition.
