Miriam Tewaguna Nampeyo (1956- )

Miriam is the daughter of Elva Nampeyo and granddaughter of Fannie Nampeyo. This jar is consistent in quality with what one would expect from a Nampeyo family member. Miriam produced a traditional jar with a traditional design of birds and fired it in traditional Hopi fashion. Take notice of the beautiful orange blush on the fired vessel.

Condition: The jar is in original excellent condition

Provenance: ex. coll. Frances Sonnenberg, Santa Fe resident
