Lupe Romero was born around 1900 and was an active potter starting around 1920. She was the mother of Persingula Tosa. She participated in Santa Fe Indian Market up to about 1973 but there is no indication that she did so after that.
This charming pueblo house has a removable front façade that reveals two kneeling women on the interior, both grinding corn with a mano and metate.
Condition: appears to be in original condition
