We recently posted this item and identified it as having been made by the Aguilar sisters (Felipa Aguilar Garcia and Asuncion Aguilar Cate). One of our clients who is deeply involved in researching Kewa Pueblo pottery brought to our attention a note by Jonathan Batkin in his book Pottery of the Pueblos of New Mexico 1700-1940, note 78, which states "Seven pieces with 'Joseffa' penciled on their bases were collected by Herbert Spinden and accessioned in 1911. They are numbers 50.0/5031-5037." This refers to the collection of the American Museum of Natural History.
A search through the AMNH site revealed one of the Joseffa jars to be identical to this jar so we are changing our attribution from the Aguilar sisters to Joseffa. We do not know her last name.
