This is one of the early small stone lithographs executed by R. C. Gorman. It is entitled "Sleeping Woman" and was completed in 1975. It was printed at and published by Windmill Press. The printer who assisted was J. Gruenwald. The chop of the workshop is on lower left corner. The paper on which it was printed is Arches Cover Buff. It was issued is a limited edition of only 35 images, of which this is number 25. It is signed and dated in lower left.
These early lithographs, issued in very small quantities, are very collectible and illustrate Gorman at his finest and earliest days of working in the medium of lithography.
Condition: original condition and it has never been framed but we are currently having it framed for future protection.
