Santa Clara Pueblo Original Painting “Standing Figure” [SOLD]

Helen Hardin was very adept at painting a lot of energy is a small space.  This Mimbres-style figure is powerful in its own right, but the colorful background and geometric shapes and parallel lines add spark to the figure.  It appears that the Mimbres man is being affected by the energy of his surroundings.

Condition: original excellent condition

Provenance: from a collector of Native paintings in Albuquerque
