Ellen F. Elsas, et. al.

Ellen F. Elsas, Curator of Traditional Arts, Birmingham Museum of Art, with the help of assistant curator Mary Villadsen, set up an exhibit of Navajo textiles from the Coleman Cooper Collection of the Birmingham Museum of Art with additional selections from the Denver Art Museum and private collections.  The exhibit opened on October 4^th and closed on December 21, 1987.  It then traveled to Palm Beach, Florida for exhibit from January 8 – February 7, 1988.
