What a marvelous stew bowl. It evidences much use at the pueblo before being sold. There is an extraordinary warm patina on the interior from many years of use as a serving or eating bowl. The bottom of the bowl has been marked with a flower hallmark in red fingernail polish, a sign of the owner. This is done by owners of bowls used in feast day ceremonies to insure that the bowl is returned to them after use. The bowl is in remarkable condition.
